first off system information:

cat /etc/debian_version
5.0.3

vzctl --version
vzctl version 3.0.23-1pve8

uname -a
Linux bctbl07 2.6.18-2-pve #1 SMP Mon Feb 1 10:45:26 CET 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am running a container with an opensuse template for 11.1

My Problem:

I cannot audit user authentication events for users logging into the ve. I have seen other posts about the events being relative to the container which I dont have a problem with. However some functionality of auditd is completely broken. This is a huge problem for us right now as we are trying to make our entire business pci compliant and will not be able to seeing as we have migrated many things to ve's. Does any one know of a way to fix/enable these features. I had a similar problem in debian where pam was compiled without auditd support and I recompiled and that fixed the problem. Would I be able to do something similar? ( I already tried recompiling pam to make sure what I needed was there. )
