Hi,

I have issues with setting UCB limits for a VPS. Currently I have issues with the following parameters:

uid resource held maxheld barrier limit failcnt
200: kmemsize 19711348 24053499 62914560 75497472 1806
privvmpages 1555913 1573874 1572864 1572864 3612614
tcpsndbuf 356160 1477760 4292608 8388608 329887
tcprcvbuf 567872 4311232 4292608 8388608 478431

and current settings are

KMEMSIZE="62914560:75497472"
TCPSNDBUF="4292608:8388608"
TCPRCVBUF="4292608:8388608"
PRIVVMPAGES="1572864:1572864"

Any hint on settings proper values ?

Hello,

it's difficult to answer what values of UBC must be set in your case. The only thing we can observe is that you were lack of "kmemsize", "tcpsndbuf", "tcprcvbuf", and "privvmpages". The proper values of these parameters depend on applications running inside the CT.
There are several ways to solve your problem:
- the first one is simply increase all values or just set them unbounded from above.
- the second approach is temporary set them unbounded from above and run all desired applications inside CT. Values in maxheld column help you to estimate the upper limits.
- Read an article http://wiki.openvz.org/UBC_systemwide_configuration
and other links provided there to examine the problem thoroughly.
