Hello,
I am having the next problem some time ago:
- I am using CentOS 5.4 64 bit with openVZ
- Kernel version: ovzkernel-2.6.18-164.2.1.el5.028stab066.10.x86_64
- the node had 2GB memory and I upgraded to 4GB
- I use vePortal
THe problem is:
Sometimes, my veportal shows "Internal Server Error" and SSH crashes. I reboot the node and everything works again for 1 or 2 days.
Today, I was using SSH and the apache crashed.
When i try to restart apache i get:
[root]# service apache restart
-bash: /sbin/service: Input/output error
Alternativelly,
[root]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
/etc/init.d/httpd: line 17: /etc/sysconfig/httpd: Input/output error
Stopping httpd: /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions: line 141: read: read error: 0: Input/output error
rm: cannot remove `/var/run/httpd.pid': Read-only file system [FAILED]
rm: cannot remove `/var/lock/subsys/httpd': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `/var/run/httpd.pid': Read-only file system
Starting httpd: /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions: line 141: read: read error: 0: Input/output error
/bin/bash: line 1: 31691 Segmentation fault /usr/sbin/httpd
[FAILED]
If I restart the node, it will work... but I don't want to. It will work only a few hours and the problem will start again.
I'm lucky today because I can use SSH.
All VPS are working fine!!!
