Is it possible to enable --cpus support in a kernel greater than 2.6.18?

We would like to use 2.6.24 because of the coretemp support for monitoring CPU and we also appear to get a little better performance out of 2.6.24 but it would be helpful to us to have support for limiting CPUs.

Hello,

Thanks for the link, so is there still no solution to the --cpus for development branches or is there a way to compile a custom kernel with the module in place?

Hello, I'm afraid there is no way at the moment.
