Hi all,
Im hoping somebody here can shed some light on this very dark situation im finding myself in.

I'm trying to limit the speed of a VPS's network, I'm not bothered on what basis this is done, It can be using IPTables, Tc, HTB whatever needs doing.

I need to be able to set an Upload/Download limit (in kbps) per VPS on a VPS Node. I've tried all tutorials i can find, asked everyone i know and now i find myself here, stuck.

Any help in this would be massively appreciated as i need this quite urgently.

I've read the OpenVZ Wiki about 2,000 times now to no avail tried various "Universal" Traffic Shaping scripts. An ideal method would be in the form of a shell script, something like

sh setlimit.sh <ctid> <uplink> <downlink>
and have it do all the work from there, but im pretty sure these things are never that simple!

I can pay for somebody to quickly and effectively give me some form of solution to this problem.
