We have several CTs running on our new OpenVZ setup. One of them has substantially higher memory requirements than the rest, but less traffic. Most of this CT's allocated memory could comfortably sit in swap most of the time.
I was wondering if there was any way to give this CT a very large privvmpages, vmguarpages, etc., while ensuring that when memory is tight, its processes get swapped out rather than the processes of other CTs.
I understand that OpenVZ does memory accounting at the struct page level, so I can't allocate X amount of physpages + Y amount of swap to a CT. What I'm mainly looking for, I think, is a per-CT /proc/sys/vm/swappiness. Does anyone know if something like this exists?
