Since the DRBD kernelmodule in stab066.x was upgraded to 8.3.4 it freezes my machine. After starting the service it says "preferably kernel and userland versions should match". Then the server is not longer reachable (no ping). The wrong version of the userland-tool shouldn't kill the connection, right?!

The last line in the logfile says:
Dec 29 23:27:56 zelos kernel: drbd: initialized. Version: 8.3.4 (api:88/proto:86-91)

nothing more...

Any hints?

Thanks
Holger

Hi,

you hit a kernel oops (crash) and your machine freezes ... only a reboot bring it back ... after loading the drbd module it freezes again ;-(

Please setup the Remote Controller, -> http://wiki.openvz.org/Remote_console_setup or fetch the Real "Screen" output and open a bug on bugzilla.openvz.org.

Bye,
Thorsten

Hi,

first of all a happy new year and thanks for the quick response!

Indeed, I have a kernel panic. I made a screenshot of the output of the remote console... Does it help?

Thanks
Holger
