I'm trying to write a perl collectd plugin that will extract information from the proc filesystems of running containers, and everything went just fine with /proc/net/dev, however, I'm seeing a strange occurrence in /proc/stat. Every once in a while, the idle entry for cpu0 will be replaced with '48485' and a value that's close to what idle should be occupies the wait entry. Wait's entry is lost, and irq, softirq, and steal are still 0 (as they should be). I would just grab the information from /proc/vz/vestat on the host, but I'd like the wait information if it's possible.
