Simple newbie question about OpenVZ.

Can yum be used inside a VE to install software, or do you have to use vzyum from the host operating system? The reason I ask is that I would like to use the configuration management tool puppet to control the config of VE's, and it relies heavily on yum.

Thanks for that. It just seemed, like from all the docs that I had been reading that using vzyum was the recommended way, and yum was frowned upon.
