My VPS provider allows me to SSH into the host node to get to my VE, and I was just wondering how that is done so I can duplicate the functionality on my local install of OpenVZ (as its handy when you've locked yourself out of your VE by flushing iptables or stopping sshd or something!)
Basically I SSH into the host node with a username and password and it seems to perform a "vzctl enter <veid>" as I get the prompt:
entered into CT 102
root@vps:/#
Like you do with "vzctl enter 102".
Is this a built-in function of OpenVZ, or is it some sort of hacky wrapper such as replacing the shell of my HN user with "sudo vzctl enter 102" or something?
