Hello, I'm fairly new to OpenVZ. I'm currently running OpenVZ host on a Ubuntu 9.04 Server, and attempting to run a Ubuntu 8.04CT. The host has several physical Nics. I would like to have eth0 dedicated to the Host itself, and a second NIC dedicated to the CT. I don't want the host to be able to use the second nic for security purposes.
Eth0(Host Machine) 192.168.3.55
Eth1(Container) 192.168.6.73

Is this configuration possible? I've been reading the documentation and i haven't found the info i'm looking for yet.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi,

yes, this is a possible configuration.
Look at "--netdev_addd" option of vzctl utility.
