Bus error

what dose this error mean?

Are there any messages in /var/log/messages?
What kernel do you use?
And also what hardware is on your node?

Seems that kernel can't load some pages from swap due to some I/O errors...
Is this error permanent? I mean you can't destroy VPS even after reboot?

Please, try the following items to solve the problem:
  1. Check that your disk works in right DMA mode.
  2. Check your disk for bad blocks.

Try compiling
CONFIG_IDEDISK_MULTI_MODE = y

into your running kernel. That should do the trick if it doesn't contain bad blocks.
