Hello,

I am hoping to be able to apply second level quota's inside an openvz guest.

The idea being as follows:

--
root partition on: /dev/simfs /
home partition on: /dev/simfs2 /home (this one has the quota's turned on)

It seems to me that it is easy to set quotas for the root file system, however my system I am migrating requires them to be set on /home to work properly.

The system in question is an existing HSPHERE webserver that I wish to consolidate into an openvz guest.

Is there any way in which I can get openvz to present a secondary volume to the guest on which quota's can be set?

Many Thanks

Rob

I'm also interested on this, I was going to post the same issue.

Hello,

I have not found a solution to this.

Essentially.. a VS container only really can have the one mount point for the root filesystem!
