Hello,

there is not a single subdirectory under "/var/lib/vz/" directory called "private". For example there is the "/var/lib/vz/template" directory where templates' data locate. Its size depends on how many templates you're going to use. It wouldn't be a very huge in your case but who knows...
Anyway, this is not a problem at all. When a new container is being created you can use "--private" and "--root" parameters which make vzctl utility reside private and root areas of the container being created where you want them to be.
