Hallo

I just come back from LinuxTag. I asked there why there is no current ubuntu kernel image anymore and they were completely surprised about this fact.

I don't know why Ubuntu itself removed the openvz images from the current distri (9.04 "jaunty").

But in the download pages of openvz there are also ubuntu images, but very outdated (linux-image-2.6.24-22 for hardy). Is there any repository with current kernel builds for ubuntu or does someone want to make one.

I don't like building kernel packages by my own because the i am also responsible for frequently updates, but i think it is very important for such a well-known distribution to have such a repo.

agree?
