Hello,

I'm new to openvz and I'd like to try it out. (did the same with xenserver) But when I want to install it, it just doesn't do anything. The screen stays black all the time.

I've tried booting with the apic=off command but still, there is nothing happening. Could someone tell me how to fix this?

thanks

Hello,

I'd recommend you to use the latest RHEL5 based kernel
http://download.openvz.org/kernel/branches/rhel5-2.6.18/028s tab062.3/

As it is based on RHEL5 kernel, you may expect it to work as a native RHEL5 kernel. So, if it is not able to boot, please try the pure RHEL5 kernel and don't hesitate to file a bug into bugzilla if booting results are different.
