Hi,

We capture periodically the file '/proc/vz/vestat' to obtain the CPU consumption.
However, during a snapshot, the counter representing the CPU state 'idle' is decremented (from 13415802950067 to 13414572856874, thus a difference of -1230093193)...

Is this the consequence of a kind of automatic reset of the counter?

Thanks,
Fred

host = OpenSUSE 11.1 (64 bits)
4 VPS, OpenSUSE 11.0 32 bits each
OpenVZ for 2.6.27 kernel (kernel-ovz-default-2.6.27.11-aivazovsky.1.43.1.x86_64.rpm)

For information, this problem has happened only one time during our numerous tests...
