We're in the process of upgrading a few OpenVZ servers and have our first CentOS 5.3 host (50+ 4.4-4.7 hosts). We have loaded a 4.7 guest onto this 5.3 host, but want to upgrade the guest itself. We've replaced the yum repo to match 5.3, but get the following errors when running a yum upgrade:
Error: initscripts conflicts with kernel < 2.6.12
Error: Missing Dependency: python-abi = 2.3 is needed by package python-elementtree
Error: Missing Dependency: libaprutil-0.so.0 is needed by package httpd
Error: Missing Dependency: perl(Convert::ASN1) is needed by package samba
Error: Missing Dependency: libapr-0.so.0 is needed by package httpd
The first one bothers me the most... has anyone tried this? Help please!
