I wish there were a way to watch the shutdown sequence of a VE.

Running Fedora 10 in the VE.

I have a service I created because I want to run something at shutdown of a VE that saves a ram disk to a real drive. I've set it up with chkconfig and I can start and stop the service manually and everything works. When I start it up eveything works but shutting down it doesn't run.

In the /etc/rc.d/rc0.d and the /etc/rc.d/rc6.d there is a link just like all the other links pointing to the program in the init.d directory. Looks just like everything else except it doesn't run.

Kind of driving me nuts. I could use a clue. Thanks in advance.
