Hi there,

I am trying to create a large amount of VEs and start them altogether. I was able to run hundreds them successfully under linux kernel 2.6.26. But when I switched to 2.6.24 kernel, I was only able to create 50 VEs and then I was receiving "vzctl start failed" error message. I was using the same "ubuntu-8.0.4-minimal" VE template and all VE configurations on the two kernels remain the same.

Any insights about what problem this might be?

Thanks!

Your kernel has CONFIG_KEYS turned on. Recompile with this option unset and you'll be fine.
