There is no such module in OpenVZ kernel.
Presumably, you've bumped into a problem in one of the Virtuozzo startup scripts (/etc/init.d/vz?).
Of course, if you overcome all the obstacles and manage to correct all user space applications you'll be able to startup vz service but no guarantee that any other application will work with your custom kernel.
