Hello, I have read and followed the different steps proposed in the tutorial http://wiki.openvz.org/X_inside_VE
I have configured without problem the X-Forwarding.
I would like to know if there is a way to provide X-server inside the containers, I mean, without having to connect to the X-server located in the host system.
I have tried to install kde Desktop in a container, but the udev module throws errors and the installation can not be completed.
Is there any way to get a Graphic-Desktop in each Containers? And provide it by a command like 'startx'?
Thanks a lot for your help! Don't hesitate to ask me if something is not clear.

Hi,

as far as I know it's impossible because it's unsafe configuration and I believe that X-forwarding is able to satisfy all user's requirements.
Please, see related topics

Anyway, if you have any suggestions, please file a bug (mark it as feature request) and give your point of view. Thank you.

This seemed to work fine in VE's on our Hardware node. Everything is done from inside the VE:

KDE and VNC server inside OpenVZ Container
http://www.serverhostingsecrets.com/tutorials/kde-vnc-openvz -container/

We installed it inside a Fedora VE, but the guide says to use Centos, so both must work ok.

But this eats up server resources, so I'm not sure you'll be wanting to have many VE's running this.
