Hi,
I just would like to know if it is possible to install a Ubuntu container on an OpenVZ-Debian modified kernel, and how to proceed.
Is it possible? I have read that we have to install an OpenVZ-template to support Ubuntu from a Debian kernel, bt I am not sure about how we proceed.
Thanks a lot for your answers!

Hi Robert,

I would recommend you to begin with the "OpenVZ user's guide".
http://download.openvz.org/doc/OpenVZ-Users-Guide.pdf
It's not difficult to read and understand and it contains some basic examples which might be helpful to realize how it works.

Yes, it's possible,. You might use precreated templates for this purpose
http://download.openvz.org/template/precreated/
All that you should do is to download tarball, put in inside /vz/template/cache and that's should be all. Then you might create a VE based on that ubuntu template.
Good luck.
