Is there any working gentoo template? I tried downloading precreated template but after the VPS created we can not SSH to it whereas other templates are working fine.
Does anyone check the templates before uploading them to precreated downloadable links

Why not? What king of error did you get?
Does sshd daemon run inside VE?
Is there exists network connection to VE? (i.e. whether you can ping to your VE)

From the main node we can enter the VPS. But its not pinging or even connecting via SSH.
how can we fix that?
Also we want to enable the tun tap for openvpn. We followed the steps at
http://wiki.openvz.org/VPN_via_the_TUN/TAP_device
And it do not do anything in the vps. This is in ubuntu.

I this this is mostly network specific problem rather that template specific.
