Verry sure. I tried it too, and also 2.6.18-alt, made by the guys at ALTLinux, for AltLinux Server. But it now works, though the server is under test for some days.

ALT Linux Sisyphus (20081222) 2.6.26-ovz-smp-alt3, vzctl version 3.0.23
