Hey All,

Since three days I've got my new on-line CentOS 5.2 server divided up in a few separate containers with OpenVZ.

Today I noticed the clock of the main server itself was not set right. I fixed the clock by using an NTP server. The only problem now is that the containers do not seem to sync with the OpenVZ server.

Does anyone know how this can be accomplished without restarting the containers?

Thanks for the help!

Do you have in mind the containers that are located on the OpenVZ server?
If yes, could you please show how did you check this fact?
Please, show the output:
"vzctl exec $VEID date; date", when $VEID is the number of your VE.

Actually, HN and VE use the same system clock, so they have to be synchronized automatically. The only reason I can imagine why they don't in your case is that time zones are not properly adjusted on your system. I mean time zones on the HN and inside the VE.
