Hi,

please show:

- ip r l (from the HN and from inside the VE)
- arp -n (from the HN)
- check firewall rules

please run tcpdump to clarify such behavior.

When pinging your VE from HN run tcpdump on venet0 interface on the HN and on venet0 interface inside VE.
