I have a container that is using 300k inodes maxed out 100%

I updated it to 400k, but for some strange reason it is just not saving.

I ran this:

Quote:

[root@server001 root]# vzctl exec 102 df -i
Filesystem Inodes IUsed IFree IUse% Mounted on
/dev/vzfs 300000 300000 0 100% /
[root@server001 root]# vzctl set 102 --diskinodes 300000:400000 --save
Saved parameters for Container 102
[root@server001 root]#
Regardless, still shows up as 300k instead of 400k. I even stopped it, tried again and restarted. Same problem.

Even the vps conf file shows 300000:400000

Hello,

1. Are you sure that you're running OpenVZ and not Virtuozzo container?

2. "vzctl set 102 --diskinodes 300000:400000 --save" sets soft and hard limits for diskinodes. You have to increase softlimit. OpenVZ user's guide explains this
