I just have a freshly installed CentOS server, Setup with OpenVZ
I manage to get the VM's up and running fine but they cannot be accessed via ssh nor are able to ping to the outside world!

I have done iptables --flush which i thought would fix the problem but didn't. And i'm not completely sure what else to do. I have a feeling it's a route/forwarding problem.

Any help would be much appreciated, Thank you

Bhavic

Hello,

"ip route list table all" shows that ip addresses you want to use inside VE and ip address on the HN are from different subnets.
Are you sure that ip addresses you want to use inside VE are workable? Are you able to set them for example on the HN.

Hey,

Yea i can add them on the node and they work.
If i add them on the VE's they become pingable just can't connect to the outside world.

Try to set NEIGHBOUR_DEVS variable to "all" in /etc/vz/vz.conf file. And then add ip address to your VE.
