In my VEs, my log files don't seem to be populated:

total 116
-rw------- 1 root utmp 2688 Dec 15 16:01 btmp
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Dec 15 16:08 dmesg
-rw------- 1 root root 16032 Dec 8 14:52 faillog
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 146292 Dec 15 16:19 lastlog
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 24 13:26 maillog
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 24 13:26 messages
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 24 13:26 secure
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 24 13:26 spooler
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 24 13:26 tallylog
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root utmp 61056 Dec 15 16:19 wtmp
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5183 Nov 27 15:23 yum.log

This is with a template I built myself (CentOS 5.2) and is consistent in each VE I'm running. Is this a known issue with OpenVZ, or have I done something wrong?

Thanks!

In my VEs, my log files don't seem to be populated:

Sorry...silly mistake on my part. rsyslog wasn't set to start up on reboot.
