I just had a production machine run out of inodes...

I changed the config file, and didn't know how else to make it take effect so I restarted the vps...

since this is a production site, I would have much rather have had this take effect w/o a vps reboot, but I coulden't find a command to do it...

I did google arround a bit, but my search:
openvz vz-scripts reload configuration

returned tons of unrelated stuff that wasn't helping...

try to use
--setmod restart

vzctl set $VEID --diskinodes $SOFT:$HARD --save
