I'm installing a new VPS service using OpenVZ in Debian Etch, and i have some questions...

My first problem is the hard disk access, I am scared of which a malicious user may install a software like "stress" occupying the hard disk and leaving the others users without service. May you recommend me to solve this?

If really there is no solution, is possible to monitor the use of hard disk by each VPS with some tool like Nagios, MTRG or S.M.A.R.T ?

My second question is, I'm planning to create 4 plans of VPS according to its RAM memory: 64, 128, 256 and 512. I want to put the small plans (64 and 128) in a HN and the great ones (256 and 512) in another HN, and i want to host about 120 VPS for each HN. What kind of hardware may you recommend to do that ?

Ok, i think its all for the moment... Very Happy

Thanks in advance !

You can set hard disk quotas and user level quotas for each VE, for monitoring issue try zabbix.
