Hello all,

I have a hardware node with 2 NICs (one public, one private), and the private NIC has 3 private networks attached to it eth1 eth1:0 and eth1:1.

Now, I want one of the VEs to access the eth1:1 network, i've tried giving it an IP on that network however it doesn't seem to work? Could anyone help?

Thanks!

Could you please show the output of the following commands:

# ip a l (from HN and from inside the VE)
# ip rule list (from HN and from inside the VE)
# ip route list table all (from HN and from the VE)

and also what steps have been done (the exact commands you've executed and the exact error messages you've got)

P.S. Please check iptables rules on your HN

Thank you for your response, but it seems as though it was an iptables firewall rule on the customer's VE that was blocking the internal network.

Thanks!
