The latest kernel that is the default for yum install, (2.6.18-92.1.1.el5.028s) will not compile the Asterisk Zaptel interface. I had to drop back to the 2.6.18-53.1.19.el5.028 kernel.

Has anyone else experienced this? This appears to be a problem with the kernel.

could you possible specify what what do you have installed, how did you try to compile zaptel and what errors have you got?
