Sorry, Noob here Rolling Eyes !

Q: I've been able to run a virtual machine (win XP) on my Kubuntu box using my generic kernel (2.6.24.19). To make a long story short, I ended up installing the openvz kernel (2.6.24.19). Since I always prefer to run a generic kernel (as I am a noob, and worried about support) is there any reason for me to run the openvz kernel? Right now both work fine on my system. Whats the difference?

Also, if I don't need the openvz kernel, can I safely remove the meta-package using adept manager, or is that dangerous?

Thanks for the help guys! Very Happy
