I've installed DB2 Express-C on OpenVZ guest - CentOS 4, kernel 2.6.18-53.1.19.el5.028stab053.14. Host is CentOS 5. It worked fine, I was able to create sample DB and connect.

Then I created template from that instance and used it to create second guest. So I got DB2 in second guest without installation.
db2start, db2stop works fine, connect to sample db too. But when I try to create new database it fails:
 -bash-3.00$ db2 create db TDB
DB20000I The CREATE DATABASE command completed successfully.
-bash-3.00$ db2 connect to TDB
SQL1084C Shared memory segments cannot be allocated. SQLSTATE=57019

It's empty DB, all memory parameter are fine, because I was able to create database with the same parameters on first guest and this DB is fully functional on both servers.
-bash-3.00$ db2 connect to sample

   Database Connection Information

 Database server = DB2/LINUX 9.5.0
 SQL authorization ID = DB2INST1
 Local database alias = SAMPLE

Is it impossible to install DB2 as part of template?
