Hello All ,
I am very much new to openVZ.But now i have a task to set a VPN with squid proxy in an openVZ server(debian).What are the factors i should consider.
openVZ will behave in the same way as a normal server ?.Please help me with your knowledge and experience .

There are plenty of docs so check them out. They should answer all of your questions.
Depending on what you want to do, either the default NIC device (venet) will do what you need... or if you need to run services that require broadcasts and a unique MAC address, then you'd want to use the veth NIC device type.
After checking out the docs and the wiki site, feel free to ask specific questions here that you can't find the answers to... or feel free to drop by the #openvz channel on the freenode IRC network.
