I have a debian 4 hardware node with openvz installed. Kernel is 2.6.18-12-fza-amd64. It is 192.168.1.111 on my LAN. All traffic from my router is forwarded to this box. My test container is 192.168.1.112. My domain name works properly as far as resolving. I have internet access from the hardware node and from within the containers.

My problem is that test1.domain.com (the domain name given to my test container) goes to the hardware node. How can I forward everything from that name to the container?

I have read the wiki on using NAT for container with private IP, however having to use the IP and a different port doesn't work very well for my situation. I need to be able have all services available for both the hardware node, and multiple containers.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions on where to look for a solution.
