Is it possible to share non-private areas when you are not migrating from virtuozzo? [message #30764]

I'm migrating 12 CentOS based VPS's from Virtuozzo to OpenVZ.

From everything I've read, with a direct migration, I pretty much have to multiply the space I'm using in Virtuozzo by 12.

My questions is.... If I do a complete reinstall of all 12 VPS's, can I get the non-private-area (OS Template) disk savings back?
