I'm migrating 12 CentOS based VPS's from Virtuozzo to OpenVZ.

From everything I've read, with a direct migration, I pretty much have to multiply the space I'm using in Virtuozzo by 12.

My questions is.... If I do a complete reinstall of all 12 VPS's, can I get the non-private-area (OS Template) disk savings back?

Thanks for your help.

Why do you think that you'll have to multiply by 12?
The real extension you can obtain via starting VE on Virtuozzo and then via estimation /vz/root/VE_ID size.

It's a Virtuozzo feature. simfs doesn't provide such saving.
Previous Topic: (probably) an easy question
Next Topic: HN and VPS with differen /24 are not working - is this not possible?
