The compaq/hp array (scsi disk) is not supported in the openvz kernels, in short cparray, like it is in any edition of RH, Fedora or CentOS.

Can anyone tell me how it should be compiled into the kernel, than I will make the kernels of course available for anyone.

THANX

It is supported. Support is compiled in kernel instead of in module support in "any edition of RH, Fedora or CentOS".

Henry, that means you
(1) don't need initrd specifically for cparray if using openvz kernel
(2) can safely ignore warnings from mkinitrd that tells module xxx is not found -- this is because indeed there is no separate module, driver is compiled into kernel
