Hi to all,
Is it any possibility to run vps.script after networking start in VE guest on Host server.
I'd like to set some parameters on a host on veth.<veid> but this available only after starting.
I see that there is <veid>.mount script but it starts before networking
Is it some <veid>.net or something like that to do the job ?
Best Regards,
Georgi

P.S.:
My version of vzctl is 3.0.22-5 on Debian
Kernel version is : Linux OpenVZ 2.6.18-fza-028stab053.5-amd64

Hello,

Could you possibly clarify what do you want to do?
If the bridge configuration may be http://wiki.openvz.org/Using_private_IPs_for_Hardware_Nodes# Making_the_configuration_persistent
helps you?

Hi and thanks for your answer.
I'd like to execute in statrting up guest system ( VE ) some scripts on host system
like:
/sbin/ifconfig vethxx.y 0
/sbin/ifconfig vethxx.x 0
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/vethxx.x/forwarding
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/vethxx.y/forwarding
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/vethxx.x/proxy_arp
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/vethxx.y/proxy_arp

Thanks a lot
Best Regards,

Hi,

seems to me http://wiki.openvz.org/Veth#Making_a_veth-device_persistent is what you want to do.
