I'm trying to create a container. Here's the specifics:

kernel: 2.6.18-53.1.13.el5.028stab053.10
vzctl: 3.0.22-1
OS Template: centos-5-i386-default

Doing a vzctl create it starts to extract the OS Template into the /vz/private/{CTID}.tmp/ directory and fails in the middle because of quota problems.

/var/log/messages says:

kernel: VZ QUOTA: disk softlimit exceeded for id=199054
kernel: VZ QUOTA: disk hardlimit reached for id=199054

There is plenty of disk space:

[root@hprack6 ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 29G 5.2G 23G 19% /
tmpfs 1013M 0 1013M 0% /dev/shm

I'm NOT running out of inodes:

[root@hprack6 ~]# df -i
Filesystem Inodes IUsed IFree IUse% Mounted on
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 7841280 213826 7627454 3% /
tmpfs 223472 1 223471 1% /dev/shm

There is nothing odd about the configs being used.

What's going on?

Update: Nevermind... it *WAS* my config template. It did have diskspace values that I weren't aware where in there. Smile
