diskspace above 2.2gb?? [message #29441]

Hey all,

New to OpenVZ and i've read through the users guide and searched this forum, so I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else.

I've been trying to set diskspace limits above the default 1GB. I've tried:

vzctl set 101 --diskspace 4194304:4718592 --save

For around 4GB, but the VE still reports 2.2GB:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
simfs 2237472 274152 1758496 14% /

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!!

Anyone? I even tried recreating a new VE with 4+GB and it only created a 2GB VE?

Could it have something to do with the host OS being CentOS 5.1? And the OpenVZ kernel is CentOS 5? Should I use a different host OS? And the VE kernel i'm using is centos-5-x86_64-default

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry for all who wasted their time reading this thread.

I created a /vg partition, not a /vz one, so any new machine filled the "/" partition right away.
