Hello,

Is this intentional that there are no broken-out versions of the OpenVZ patchset since 2.6.16-026test005.1? Sad

Is there any chances to get the pure OpenVZ patchset (without backported kernel stuff)? It's too hard to process all rejects when upgrading to the latest kernels.

BTW, there is a typo in the announce in the top header of this forum. The announced OVZ kernel is 026test009.1, not 025test009.1. Smile

You can find all the stuff in the git repository at http://git.openvz.org/

Kir, unfortunately, I'm not so familiar with git. I cannot find a way to extract the pure OpenVZ patchset from your git repository (it looks like the whole kernel tree is under git control).

I understand that I can retrieve the head branch from your repository, then perform a diff between your repository and vanilla kernel 2.6.16.9... Perhaps, there is another more simple option to retrieve the broke-out version of your patches?

Let me know, please.

Thanks!

Razz Resolved. I've spend last day studying GIT Smile Now, I'm quite happy with git.openvz.org Smile) From now on, I'm running OpenVZ enabled 2.6.16.12 with all my private patches applied.

Thanks!

Nice to hear it!

If you could share your knowledge and publish a small howto on this site (in the HOWTO forum) that would be great.

I think that I'm not quite confident with GIT to write a good HOWTO. Perhaps, a little bit later? Wink
