iptables error 18446744073709551615 on hardware node [message #29152]

I am trying to run iptables on my hw node to SNAT connections made from my guest machines:

HW Node: CentOS 5 x86_64 - 2.6.18-53.1.6.el5.028stab053.6

When I run iptables:

[root@ilb2 ~]# iptables -t nat -I OUTPUT -o bond1 -j SNAT --to 192.168.20.211
iptables: Unknown error 18446744073709551615

And in my system logs:

Apr  7 13:31:05 ilb2 kernel: ip_tables: SNAT target: bad hook_mask 8

Any ideas?

Hello,

i think the reason is in the following:
from "man iptables"

SNAT
This target is only valid in the nat table, in the POSTROUTING chain
