Hi everybody,

we have a server runnning openvz with ip-address: 83.243.81.XX. The problem is we just aquired half an ip-block with ip-addresses from 89.106.78.128 to 89.106.78.255 gw 89.106.78.129. We wanted to give some of these ips to our VZs. Just adding a new VZ like this:

vzctl create 108
vzctl set 108 --hostname test01.darkblue.de --save
vzctl set 108 --ipadd 89.106.78.130 --save
vzctl set 108 --nameserver XX.XX.XX.XX --save

did not work out. We also tried to add a new IP-address as alias eth-iface to the HWNode. But also with no success.

Does anyone know how to do this correctly? By the way we use venet for openvz.

Thanks!

Darkblue
