Hi, All
I am running 250 VEs on a Debian host.
The kernel is ovzkernel-2.6.18-enterprise.
There is a Quad core 64-bit CPU in my box.

Periodically the CPU iowait % reaches nearly 100%,
the situation lasts for several seconds and the CPU iowait
turns to 0%.

Actually I don't issue any I/O tasks in VEs and HN.

Is it reasonable, or is there any tool for monitoring the
I/O operations in VE?

Thanks!

I found the %iowait is 7.69 since boot. Is it reasonable?
The output of iostat is:

avg-cpu: %user %nice %system %iowait %steal %idle
0.12 0.54 0.76 7.69 0.00 90.90
