I'm trying to rebuild the OpenVZ RHEL5 kernel as is (just experimenting) and I have some problems...

~/.rpmmacros
%_topdir /tmp3/ovzkern
%make make
%_smp_mflags -j6

ls /tmp3/ovzkern
BUILD RPMS SOURCES SPECS SRPMS

$ rpm -ivh ovzkernel-2.6.18-53.1.4.el5.028stab053.4.src.rpm
(works fine)
$ cd /tmp3/ovzkern/SPECS
$ rpmbuild -ba kernel-ovz.spec

Then it barfs on an error about missing kernel-2.6.18-x86_64-xen.config.ovz

So I tried

$ rpmbuild -ba kernel-ovz.spec --without xen
and
$ rpmbuild -ba kernel-ovz.spec --without xen --target=x86_64

It finished successfully, but I only end up with an RPM for the kernel headers...

Any ideas?
