Is it possible to install from the Live CD?

I tried to install OpenVZ manually with FC8 x86_64 and that did not work out too well.

Is there a preconfigured iso that I can just boot and install from?

also there is any pre configured linux distribution , that pre installed open vz and any open vz control panel , and that distro can be installed

Not any like I know at this moment.
But I can tell you this in 2 days I manage to install CentOS 5.1 (never used im Slackware supporter Razz

) and install vtonf as control panel for management of HN and VE.
Is true in this 2 days I reinstall CentOS for about 4-5 times to figure what im doing wrong.
The only problem with CentOS, OpenVZ and Vtonf is the vzyum who don't work and need to get a program and run it and he do all the job for you and at end you will have a working server with openvz installed and 1 working template too.
Here is what you need for getting start.

Vtonf install problem and fix. This is from http://www.linuxhelpresource.com/

Installing Vtonf in CentOS 5.1 for openvz management
Vtonf (http://www.vtonf.com/) is a new control panel made by bobcares (bobcares.com) and it is a product still in testing but can manage every aspect of your openvz server including the host and nodes. I am now going to go over the basic steps for installation of this control panel.

The first thing you will need is openvz installed (reference http://www.linuxhelpresource.com/2008/03/how-to-install-and- run-openvz-on-centos.html )

Now, lets get into installing the Vtonf control panel. There is not much involved in installing the control panel ( bobcares has made a good autoinstaller) To get it installed, do the following:

Step 1. get the download at http://www.vtonf.com/downloads.html and wget it to your server

Step 2. tar xvzf vtonfinstaller.1.0-beta.tar.gz

Step 3. cd vtonfinstaller.1.0-beta

Step 4. ./install

Step 5. The program will ask you for your username and password to install into the control panel.

Step 6. You are done!

If may receive the following error in CentOS 5.1 once the panel starts

Starting vtonf: /usr/sbin/vtonfd: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]
Stopping vtonf: [FAILED]
Starting vtonf: /usr/sbin/vtonfd: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

You can fix it with a symlink as shown below:

ln-s libssl.so.6 libssl.so.4 in the /var/lib/ directory

If you get this error

tarting vtonf: /usr/sbin/vtonfd: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]
Stopping vtonf: [FAILED]
Starting vtonf: /usr/sbin/vtonfd: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

you can fix it with this symlink:

ln-s libcrpyto.so.6 libcrypto.so.4 in the /var/lib/ directory
